DCB Boats

Turn Heads with the Nations Best Custom Painters

The majority of DCB boats are gelcoated. Gelcoat is a color-pigmented resin that is sprayed directly onto the hull and deck molds. Its advantages include a thicker, more durable finish over time. It is also easier to repair and can be polished to a bright, high-gloss shine with relative ease.

Paint, on the other hand, offers greater flexibility for intricate and complex designs. If you prefer a painted finish, DCB has partnered with two companies we consider to be the best in the business. Whether you’re envisioning a detailed graphic or a fully themed boat, we are highly confident that both of these companies can deliver an on-water Da Vinci in the form of a super catamaran.

In simple terms, DCB manufactures the hull, deck, dash, and other components. These parts are then shipped to the selected paint company. The customer will work directly with the painter to coordinate the desired paint scheme. Once the paint job is complete, the boat is returned to DCB to resume the manufacturing process. The customer is responsible for paying the painter directly, as well as covering all freight charges to and from the paint facility.
